One area that’s caught a few people out over the years? Page order. Specifically, for booklets. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our brand new interactive proof for saddle stitch booklets, available as part of our File Check service.
With our new page-turning feature, we've helped reduce those concerns to give our users confidence when placing their order.
When you upload your artwork using File Check on any of our saddle stitch booklet product pages, you’ll now be able to see an interactive, page-flipping preview of your file.
A pop-up window will let you flip through your virtual booklet, just as if it were printed and in your hands. You’ll be able to:

This new software is just one part of a much bigger picture. As part of our File Check service, you’ll also benefit from over 60 in-depth preflight checks—from spotting low-resolution images and elements too close to the edge, to merging or splitting PDFs if needed. Adding page-turning functionality makes File Check even more valuable for our customers.
We’re also planning to bring this feature to more booklet formats soon—broadening our support and smoothing out the bumps on the road to effortless printing.
Along the bottom of the preview window, you’ll find an option to view an overview of all your page spreads. This lets you quickly check that each spread appears in the correct order and position within your booklet.
Want to share your design with a client? Click on the three dots and you can easily generate a shareable link to your interactive preview. Send it via email, drop it into a message, or post it to social media. It’s ideal if you’re printing on behalf of a customer and want to give them a final look before placing the order.
