The Oor Wullie Army has arrived. And Tradeprint marches by its side. Working together with The Archie Foundation, Tradeprint has been taking care of all of Wullie’s printing needs. The trails new A2-folded-to-A5 maps have been a massive hit with the public, with even the Queen cracking a smile upon her recent visit to Dundee. These 55 life-sized statues, designed by some of the nation’s greatest artists, are for more than just fun and games. The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail has been designed to help raise funds for The ARCHIE Foundation’s Tayside Appeal to create a twin theatre suite for the Tayside Children’s Hospital at Ninewells.
After the trail has ended, all of the Sculptures will be auctioned off on 13th of September at the Dundee Rep. And we believe that our statue, painted by the current Oor Wullie artist Peter Davidson, will be the one to watch.
