When you upload your artwork, an automated system runs 60 comprehensive checks covering technical, layout and quality criteria and instantly gives you a proof to review.  

You can upload your files and the check process now takes one day less than before.  

What Does the 60-Point Check Cover? 

Our File Check is more than just a quick glance. It covers everything from the basics to advanced print-readiness checks: 

Core automatic checks (the first 40 points) are done online as soon as the file is uploaded; things like converting colour spaces, handling file formats, and spotting obvious technical issues.  

Then, 20+ additional quality checks are performed to catch more subtle or complex problems:  

• Detecting low-resolution images (which might print blurry)  

• Ensuring design elements stay within safe zones and avoid being cut off  

• Verifying page order (especially vital for booklets or multi-page documents)  

• Checking for finish-specific requirements that are specific to what you’re printing.  

• Adjusting templates or PDFs as needed (e.g. combining, splitting, duplicating pages) so that the artwork matches the final product exactly. 

For booklet orders, you’ll even get an animated proof. A virtual, page-flipping preview so you can check that everything looks right before giving the green light.
