In all our years of experience working alongside our customers, we have learned how important it is to focus our attention on overcoming challenges that make designing for print easier.

To that end, we are excited to announce the addition of a 3D design tool to our packaging products.

Anyone can now confidently design packaging in the 3D design tool.  It’s a drag-and-drop editor that allows you to design a packaging product in real time and see the positions of the elements you add in a 3D render model.

This really cuts down on any issues that could arise in the custom product creation process, as well as opening this product to customers with little to no design experience.

Features include:

• Colour swatches and the ability to add specific brand colours using hex codes or RGB
• Predefined shapes
• Text boxes
• Premade patterns & backgrounds
• An easy drag & drop interface
• Upload area for specific logos or graphics

Taking quick screenshots from the screen can also help with presenting designs and ideas to other stakeholders within your printed packaging project.

To test it out, choose a product, click on “Start Designing”, and the tool will open up for you to try.  Once you have placed your order, you will be able to access the design files for the next time.
