Tomisin Our Rising Star Winner

Tradeprint’s Tomisin Chuka named a 2026 Rising Star by The Printing Charity

Tomisin will be honoured at a ceremony in the House of Lords on 9 July, recognised for leadership potential and dedication to his career in print production.

Tomisin, a Print Production Operative at Tradeprint, has been recognised as a winner of The Printing Charity’s Rising Star Award 2026. Tomisin will be presented with the award at a celebration ceremony held at the House of Lords, London, on 9 July 2026.

Now in its 17th year, the Rising Star Award recognises talented individuals aged 18 to 35 who are building a career in print, paper, packaging, graphics or publishing. Winners receive up to £1,500 in funding, which does not need to be repaid, to put towards training and professional development.

At Tradeprint, Tomisin supports finishing operations within print production, helping to maintain quality standards, keep output on track during busy periods, and ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time. Before joining Tradeprint, Tomisin spent three years as a Production Manager in Nigeria.

Tomisin began his career in customer service, developing strong communication and problem-solving skills, before moving into production management and, more recently, print production at Tradeprint.

“I’m incredibly proud to be recognised as a Rising Star. I love being part of a team that delivers under pressure during our busiest periods. This award means a great deal, and I’m excited to use it to keep developing my leadership skills and build a long-term career in this industry,” said Tomisin.

Tomisin plans to use the award funding to undertake an ILM Level 3 Diploma in Leadership & Management Skills course to build on previous leadership experience and develop skills in team management, communication and performance improvement. Tomisin hopes the training will support progression into a senior production or team leadership role, while also mentoring and supporting colleagues along the way.

Santha Hope, Head of Marketing Communications, says, “Tradeprint is extremely proud to once again see one of our production team recognised and supported by these prestigious print industry Rising Stars Awards, which play an important role in the future success of our sector.”
