Nobody enjoys telling a customer their artwork isn't ready.

But we'd rather pause production than print something we already know won't produce a good result. We do run a free 60-point check before sending to print, so issues will be flagged from these checks.

Ceidyn Berry, one of our Pre-Press Customer Advisors, has shortlisted the most common reasons you’ll get a rejection email.

• Missing bleed.
• Low-resolution images.
• Incorrect page size.
• Fonts not embedded.
• Artwork uploaded in RGB. For print, CMYK is required.  RGB is for digital formats.
• Missing pages.
• Elements too close to the edge
• For merchandise printing, the profile cut may not be set up correctly, meaning the digital line telling the machine where to trim your design is broken or missing. 

Most of these take minutes to fix.

Ignoring them could mean reprinting the entire job.
