The Print Show 2023

It’s that time of year again – The Print Show at the NEC, Birmingham, is fast approaching, and Tradeprint is excited to be back once more. The event offers a unique opportunity for print specialists to come together and discuss the latest innovations in print manufacturing, technology, and business solutions.

Our team will be present to share the exciting achievements and updates from Tradeprint HQ. We’re focusing on several key areas, including the significant expansion of our large format offerings, the introduction of our cutting-edge printing presses, and an in-depth update on our ongoing sustainability journey.

Tradeprint’s presence in the large format segment has significantly grown, thanks to the welcomed boost following the acquisition of local large format specialists, Tayprint, in September of last year. It’s no surprise that we’ve emerged as one of Scotland’s largest Large Format print manufacturers, working with businesses across the UK. This growth has highlighted the need for expansion. We’re thrilled to announce our order for a second Zund digital cutting machine, enabling a broader range of finishing options and faster production times. Additionally, we’re migrating our in-house machinery into our recently expanded Dundee factory. This move has doubled our production workspace from 20,000ft² to 40,000ft², facilitating new machinery installation, infrastructure enhancement, and optimised production workflows.

Over the last 12 months, we proudly sponsored the “Industry Champion” award at the Sign Awards in Birmingham, recognising Sam Armstrong for her remarkable decade-spanning career in the industry. Another highlight was our participation in Munich with FESPA, where we discussed sustainability on behalf of HP, one of our valued manufacturing partners. FESPA UK, an exceptional organisation, unites members within the wide format sector to help create strong connections between businesses and share valuable knowledge. Our membership in FESPA UK, along with our inclusion in the Reconomy Sustainability Partnership, marks significant achievements, underscoring our commitment to progress and sustainability.

Over the past year, our TP PRO reward scheme has experienced remarkable growth, attracting a higher number of print resellers than ever before. This accomplishment stems from our dedication to customer feedback and the desire to offer discounts and incentives that genuinely contribute to their business success. Understanding our customer’s needs, we’ve enhanced our offerings by focusing on internal optimisation and competitive pricing. This effort has allowed us to provide customers with a greater number of credits and more substantial discounts than ever before. This evolution in TP PRO reflects our dedication to supporting our print resellers and supporting their business growth.

The introduction of our brand new equipment has significantly enhanced our capabilities. From the impressive Heidlberg XL 106 LED UV Long Perfector to a range of large format and finishing machinery, we’ve equipped ourselves with the tools needed to deliver to our growing customers. The Heidlberg XL 106 LED UV Long Perfector stands out not only for its impeccable print quality and efficient energy consumption but also for the collaborative partnership it creates between the manufacturer and us. This approach ensures optimal performance, measured down to the minutest detail through Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this press has revolutionised the way we work.

When you visit us at the show, be sure to inquire about our integration API system. The Tradeprint API has undergone a transformation based on comprehensive customer feedback. Our re-launched API now includes a range of new features designed to benefit existing users and solidify our position as the go-to Print API in the industry. Widely regarded as the most robust and mature Print API available, our API has facilitated over 1 million transactions. Additionally, the market-wide launch of our CSV TP PRO Job Injector simplifies high-volume orders for customers with limited API knowledge. Our team provides dedicated support, making automation more accessible than ever.

You won’t be leaving the Tradeprint stand empty-handed. We’ll be showing some of our most sought-after products, providing you with a tangible experience of our product lineup. Don’t forget to grab a goodie bag to take with you – a gift from Tradeprint to carry away!

Santha Hope, our brand-new Head of Marketing at Tradeprint, will be present at the stand on Wednesday and Thursday. Santha has more than 15 years of experience in the large-format printing industry and is excited to meet our amazing customers in person at the show. Come along and say Hi to Santha, she can’t wait to meet you all.

We will also be offering exclusive discounts to the attendees of the show. These discounts won’t be available anywhere else, so be sure to pop by to learn more about Tradeprint, and save on your next few orders with us.
